Anglo Indian Affairs India QV Cover 1873 Guntoor – Juggiapet SG54 ½a Die I - V Rare PM FU Small elongated wrapper type with earlier DLR printing Die I watermarked – Very rare PM type 2c (JC) subtype circle formed by 11 bars (diameter 18mm) – Cooper suggest these are only found in Tanjore district (Early Indian Cancellations Cooper J., F.R.G.S: pp94: 1948 p.23), although this example comes from Guntoor District – accompanied not with TT (Taluk Tappal) but DT (pe...rhaps District Tapal?) unknown place in Guntoor District – Both seem to have a soluble ink? - Via Bauputla (Bapatla near Machilipatnam AP) 8th November – Via Turquoise-green octagonal sorting PM Masullipatam dated 9th November – Arrived Juggiapet (Jaggayyapeta near Machilipatnam AP) 11th November 1873
