Offering a very pretty Christmas red, glass beads sautoir / rope necklace with a tassel drop pendant.
This vintage 1920's necklace measures 33” for the connected strand around the neck. The 10 strand tassel measures another 4” in drop. One of the tassels is missing it's end bead but the rest are firmly in place.
There is no opening in this type of necklace and it simply slips over the head.
The irregularly cut glass here is very pretty and like most of these necklaces is ...probably Czech made. The larger glass pieces are cut into faceted geometric designs.
This necklace is still strung on it's original silk thread which while almost 100 years old is still whole with no breaks.
