The stamp definitely looks very old - being sold as seen starting at just £1.
Unused and f...ine condition for age. This stamp was found in a very old stamp collection we are selling for a client. The stamp is printed on card rather than normal penny black paper and there is no watermark. The collector had written six thousand pounds next to the stamp but I'm just not sure about it at all. I thought at first it was on piece but it does not appear to be. A real mystery so being sold as seen with no return. I have contacted a few specialist QV stamp dealers but none have offered any explanations. Could be a priters proof??
