Postcard showing SS "Darvel" at anchor. Not sure of location of the photo but possibly somewhere in Europe. There is a brief written message on the picture side however it does not affect the image of the ship. The postcard is posted from North Borneo March 22nd, 1907, with mixed 6c stamps with possibly Sandakan squared circle postmarks poorly striked. Transit Singapore April 1st, 1907, and arrival USA May 2nd, 1907(not sure of location although postcard addressed to Michigan, USA). No... longer required in my collection and needs a new home where someone can make better use of it. Please refer to scans however condition not too bad. Some light soiling overall on both sides. Creasing lower left corner (looking at illustration side). Light clear shiny gum residue marks around periphery of stamps. Other very slight edge and corner faults. Small ink smudge at base of the "M" in "Mar". The multiple squared cancels (Sandakan?) are not very clear. The postal official possibly not having a good day. Nice clear Singapore transit (April 1st, 1907) and indistinct arrival USA dated May 2nd, 1907. Postage and packaging in Australia is free. For International I will only use Australia Post Registered (signature on arrival but no tracking). I will cover some of this cost by charging only Aus$10 for the International Registered post (actual is about Aus$16) and packing.
