Civil war Over cost or Post Civil War. This jacket appears to be very old. Which leads me to believe it might be civil war. It’s not stamped but has original eagle buttons. Three were missing which I included two extra from my collection. It is made of wool. It’s a medium size which is consistent with the era. Condition is Used. See pictures for more details. I have seen similar ones like this one in museums. This items is rarely sold on eBay and probably belongs in a museum buyer ...to pay $18 shipping and handling in USA. Check out my other rarely sold civil war and post civil war stuff. I will keep in listing some great stuff I’m trying to downsize my collection which includes numerous guns. Good luck!
