Vintage Joan Remington hand painted slate art. It is a mountain and lake scene with canoes. The piece measures about 10" across. It is flat on the bottom and can stand on a table. I don't know if it had a base or not--it appears some of her works did and others did not. It looks like there might be a glue residue on the bottom surface. It is stamped on the back "The Original Scenic Slate" and signed by J Remington on the lower right front.
