Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f2.8/80mm Lens Germany. This is another find from my Father-in-law's stash of camera "stuff". The glass is clear but I can't say it is flawless as there are a couple of tiny specs visible between the lenses that I've tried to show in the photos. Don't believe they would effect photos at all though. The bigger problems are the focusing and f-stop rings. The upper ring turns but with resistance and the middle focusing ring is just plain stuck. I think this ...may be due to the lubricant drying out. Since I don't know how these were lubricated I haven't tried to remedy the problem - but hopefully someone else knows what to do. Comes with the original "Carl Zeiss - Jena" lens cover and a Japanese "METAL REAR LENS CAP FOR EXAKTA" Thanks for looking!
