These are original European hand carved dough bowls that I buy in Europe along with the stunning linens.They have been lightly sanded and then beautifully polished. Each one is so tactile and unique . To me they can be described as elegant rustic. These dough bowls were a precious commodity and were used on a daily basis. Therefore they were well looked after. During heavy use and over time some splits and cracks would appear. These would often be lovingly repaired and many of the bowl...s have wonderful old metal patches . We have a warehouse in Lake City, GA 30260 , it is not uncommon for us to have in excess of 500 different size bowls at any one time. Please see the final picture. Wholesale enquiries welcome.
