Alaska FDC. This first day coveris for the Alaska Statehood stamp, Scott # 4374, celebrating the 50thanniversary of Alaska’s statehood. This first day cover is a maximum card—apicture postcard. This card is an older linen card showing a famous Alaska dog sled team, number 1393. The reverse side is clean and notaddressed or cancelled, although there is a name and date written in ink. This is the onlyone of these cards that was produced as a FDC.
