VINTAGE NANCY ANN STORYBOOK MUFFIE STRUNG DOLL -- ALL ORIGINAL
Includes Dress , Panties , Hat , Socks & Fuzzy Bottom Center Snap Shoes (fragile snaps) Here is an original 7" to 7½ hard plastic, strung, painted lash early 1950s NASB Muffie with original outfit. Her side-parted blonde mohair wig, styled in a flip, is full and thick, and has a few fly-aways. A small part of the back of the wig has come unglued, but this doesn't show with the hat on and could easily be re-glu...ed (I'll leave this to the new owner). Also, sometimes just the left side of her "flip" wants to be more of a "pageboy." The doll's sleep eyes need help to open and shut; there's a bit of missing paint on her painted eyelids that you can see when her eyes are closed. There are painted upper lashes and no eyebrows (normal for these early NASB Muffies). Her body is in very good condition with no chew marks, dark stains, seam splits or missing fingers. She's marked on her back STORYBOOK DOLLS CALIFORNIA. The original dress is a crisp floral design with lace trim and an attached taffeta slip; it closes with a smooth gold snap. She also wears lace trimmed panties and original TLC centersnap oilcloth shoes with fuzzy bottoms. The snaps may be fragile, so I didn't undo them. I noted one stain about the size of a pinhead on the shoe strap near one of the snaps. She also wears a lavender horsehair hat with chin strap and feather decoration. All clothes are in very good, gently played-with condition. GOOD NEWS: I found a pair of vintage lavender rayon socks that will be included.

Because I am not the original owner, I cannot guarantee that these items have never been exposed to smoke, pets or peanut butter, however my nose is sensitive and I don't detect any unpleasant odors. This item has lived in my smoke-free home as long as I have owned it.
