Jack Trent made movies in the early 1930's and knew Jane Wither's. He gave her this hat for Christmas.Not sure exactly when, but it is dedicated on the insidebrim. The felt has some moth wear, the braided chinstrap has a stain and the interior crown material istattered. 20 1/2" circumference C. 1930 - 1940
