EXTREMELY RARE 1950's to 1960's Vietnam era vintage Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 Penguin lighter. This unit is better known by it's moniker "The Seabees". The lighter was in unstruck/new condition but unusable due to it's age. I have restored this lighter to full working order. Battalion 5 has won many awards for outstanding performance and was the last battalion to leave Vietnam. It has been engraved in black lettering on the back. The lettering ...is true black, believe me I tried to clean it but looking under a lens you can see it is actually black. This lighter has been fully restored to like new condition. It has been completely disassembled. All parts have been chemically cleaned and restored to like new condition. It has also been re-flinted with Dragon flint. The original box and wrapping paper is included. This is a highly collectible conversation piece that carries a ton of history and nostalgia from a defining era in American history.
