RARE 1960 - 70 ' S Coleman Canvas Classic Pup Mountain Tent Model 8427 - 700 - Two Man

RARE! Vintage 1960s-1970's Classic Coleman Canvas Mountain (Pup) Tent- Model 8427-700.
This appears to have been used, but not too much. Canvas is in excellent condition, except one corner- right rear (see details below).
Complete with poles and a set of stakes (neither are original to the tent)- but work very well. You could shorten the ridge poles if desired, but certainly not necessary. The classic canvas tent is the pup tent or A-Frame style and measure...s approx 54 x 82 x 43" tall. Has a heavy duty floor.
One corner has a small repaired (hand sewn) area that could use a sage (or army) green patch to complete the job- I can have this professionally repaired locally at a canvas specialty shop for $50 or you can choose to repair it yourself (easy to do). Picture looks worse than it really is- there is a bit of tape residue leftover from duck tape.
The front door has a full screen but also has a zip up door to close it in- all the zippers work well on the front. A few spots on the front door canvas where the red has bled onto the fabric- which is very typical of these canvas Coleman;s of this era. There is also a stain shown on the front door as well. Other than that it is very straight. No weird smells or mold.
Four poles for the ends and three poles for the ridge.
Weighs approx 10-12 pounds.
