Vintage Royal Safari Portable Typewriter Mid Century Modern
Just laying your fingers across these keys, feeling there smooth reply to your actions leaves little wonder why the Royal name has long been associated with quality typewriters. It's cool profile, sleek design make it fun and easy to use. Maybe you're thinking of spending your summer writing the next great novel... doing so the way it used to be done. Whatever your reasoning this nice Safari will... not disappoint.For immediate use, although the ribbon is in need of replacement. The overall condition of the typewriter is in Very Good Condition, it does has some scratches as pictured. Great Art Deco Styling. Comes with case. The case has a a couple of minor issues, the first being the the slide lock cover is missing, the mechanism can be moved with your finger and opened. The second is a dented rear right corner.
We'll be sure to pack safely for any journey.Typewriter Measures: 13-1/4" x 12-1/2", and is about 5" highThis model has a serial number of SA5945241, this leads me to believe that it may have been manufactured in 1964.
