Vintage 60's Ludwig P83 Snare Drum StrainerThis is a vintage 1960's Ludwig snare drum strainer throw-off with the script logo. This one is in really nice shape. The chrome finish does have some very minor surface scratches here an there (mostly on the throw arm) but no pitting anywhere. Otherwise it is in excellent working condition. The linkage is nice and tight and the action is very smooth. The threads on the fine tension adjuster are in excellent... condition and it turns top to bottom nice and smooth and stays where you set it. The throw arm clicks into place and stays put like it should. It has the standard 2-1/2" center to center hole spacing which also makes it an excellent replacement for the Slingerland Rapid and TDR strainers without having to drill any extra holes. It comes with the original mounting hardware as seen in the photos. Shipping is Free!This strainer has been stored in my drum gear inventory for many years so it actually has seen very little use.
