This Federal or Colonial Revival style piece was most likely produced in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Made of oak with lovely mahogany veneer and bronze hardware, it is two separate pieces: the china cabinet top and the chest of drawers sideboard base. There are three separate compartments, each with removable but not adjustable shelves. The two side compartments have a single glass-front door that opens outward and the large central cabinet has a pair of double doors. All ...four doors are latticed with rosette-enhanced steel fretwork. The sideboard has a central set of drawers down the front flanked by a tall cabinet and short drawer to either side. The top long drawer is a drop front, with an inner latch to lower the drawer front. There is small, adjustable organizer inside this drawer as well. The two cabinets were designed with space for an adjustable shelf, but the shelves themselves have been lost as has some of the hardware. This piece measures in total 75" high and the top measures 39" high, 46" wide, 13" deep with the base measuring 35" high, 48" wide, 16" deep. It weighs a total of 150 lbs. This piece is in fair to good condition but there are signs of wear on all edges and corners as well as missing hardware for the cabinet shelves.
