This is a True Redfield rifle scope from the 1970’s.Manufactured in the original Redfield optics company plant in Denver, Co..It was my fathers preferred scope for many years.A true Redfield scope that has evolved into an iconic collectors item since they shuttered the plant in 1998. The “Redfield” name has been bought & sold two or three times since then (Meade, Leupold), But the heart and quality of the... century old company died with the original plant closing.
this scope comes in it’s original box & price tagged at $159.99 from Oshmans sporting goods store in Dallas Texas (another institution gone, but not forgotten).
