Seven WW1 letters, 5 envelopes,  written by Sgt. William Beal Ramsey, Jr. to his wife, one of the letters are Special Delivery.

Sgt. William Beal Ramsey, Jr. served in WW1 with the all African American 368th Infantry Regiment and he and his wife, amazingly had two of their sons who become officers in WWII. Two of their Sons trained at Kessler Field, &nb...sp;Mississippi and one son became a B-25 TUSKEGEE AIRMAN.

See photos for content and condition. These letters and envelopes are guaranteed original. The letters also come with a recent print of a WWII of the three Ramsey Son's in their military uniform. 
I will also include with these original 3 letters a facsimile copy of a letter from Son Airman Ted Ramsey in which he writes about a West Point offer that he sent to his parents. In addition I will include a facsimile copy of a letter sent the Ramsey’s inviting them to Washington D.C. to witness the Oath ceremony of Marshall L. Shepard (Philadelphia Pastor), Recorder of Deeds Sept 28, 1944, Senate Office Building. In the invitation it states that Marshall L. Shepard will be given the Oath by Justice Hugo Black:

There are 8 WW1 letters in all, 7 letters written by Sgt. William Beal Ramsey, Jr. to his wife Hazel Ramsey and one of the letters is written by John W. Harris Jr. to Hazel Townsend. The letters date from 1917 - 1918 and have good content. There is good content about the all African American 368th Infantry Regiment. 
Here is some content from one of the letters:
"Well sweets today all of our Colored Officers were moved to the Eastern coast- (camps) to go across with the 92 Division. + .... we have been given White Officers from Camp Gordon Ga. We are all some what upset over the idea of having to change men with whom we have become acquainted. Everything here is upset as it is no secret that the Colored troops will leave here in a week ... We had a very bad affair here saterday night. 9 Colored soldiers are said to have .... Military Police are all over the road + of course it makes it bad for subsequent Colored men in the Camp. The Soldiers here all hail from Alabama, which in a way accounts for the fact ..."
