Here is a vintage (mid 1950's) Ashland Oil metal quart motor oil can. The lid has been removed. It has a small nail hole punched at the top on one side, a crimped area near the bottom on the same side and some light surface marks. The colors are bright, the graphics clear and the surface shiny all the way around. This is not an easy one to find. I have not seen another one in many years of collecting oil cans.
