Item DescriptionA great antique bell. Most likely used by a school teacher to alert the students that class is starting. Has some age and light patina in places. Made of brass or bronze and is in very nice condition with a solid wooden handle. Has a cast iron clapper ball, there is a nice band that is worn down a bit from the clapper so this saw some use. Rings nice with a great sound when struck. Bottom of the bell is just 5-1/2 inches acro...ss, stands about 9 inches tall.
