This was my second Terri Lee to own. I feel like he has been mine forever. He is ready for new adventures in honor of the first boy doll I ever kept until Mikey came along. He has been a favorite in my collection, but he is ready to sail on. He’s very loosely strung, but stands easily —balances. Need new bands. Has been lazy but survived well ; just “standing on the shelf” for over 50 years.He is 16 inches tall with painted features and a black wig designed in short tight, blac...k curls. I don’t think you can get this wig anymore. I dressed him as a school boy and all his clothes are handmade except the tennis shoes and the motorcycle emblem tighter whities. I recently added those. He is molded hollow plastic and very likely from the 50’s. He is marked with Terri Lee in raised letters on his back. Over the years some of his body parts may have faded so that they are slight mismatches. These have always been parts of the same doll.The other thing that may bother purists is you are able to feel and see the seams in legs neck arms, etc.He is being sold in underwear overalls tee shirt and tennis shoes. Packaged in tissue and ribbon and a plain box. He also has a sailor hat which will be included.The doll is in good condition with minimal wear and tear. He’s quite beautiful for vintage and he was played with before he went to the sidelines as a collectible. I have other dolls I have used as Jerri, but this is the only authentic Jerri Lee. Other boys have different”haircuts”!
