Up for auction is a vintage folded stampless letter and cover combination that was written at and mailed from Baltimore, Maryland and addressed to Elie Beatty, Hagerstown, MD. Letter is datelined Bank of Maryland September 13, 1832.  Short banking business letter was from what looks like R. Wilson or Tilson, Cashier.paper has multiple tears and PAPER NEEDS TO BE HANDLED CAREFULLY TO PREVENT FURTHER TEARING... .........paper has edge/corner wear, age staining and has yellowed/toned... from time... $2.25 covers shipping in the USA. Item will be shipped in a rigid cardboard photo mailer or bubble envelope, unless otherwise noted or requested..  $8.00 covers shipping outside the USA  …..
