Vintage MONTBLANC Model 31 Precious Resin Black FOUNTAIN PEN WITH 14K GOLD MED NIB. The pen has been disassembled and fully serviced, lubricated, tested and cleaned. The pen has been tested with Montblanc Royal Blue ink and writes smoothly. The piston fill mechanism works well and draws up ink nicely. The pen barrel and cap are in great conditions free of scratches, tooth marks and cracks. The gold trim on the band and clip is in great condition as is the white star on the cap and ba...rrel. The cap band has the MONTBLANC No 31 engraving. The hooded gold nib is in great condition and shows no sign of wear. The ink window is clear blue and screws tightly into the cap. This pen has been cared for in the U.S. I have several of these pens and they work and write beautifully. Even better than the 146 or 149 in my opinion. I will ship to anywhere in the U.S. only using USPS Priority mail or FedEx next day.
