1935 Silver Jubilee Dominica Set On A Registered First Day Cover To England

This cover has the SJ set on a FDC used to Hounslow, Middlesex. The stamps are cancelled ROSEAU DOMINICA 6 May1935, whichis the day of issue of the stamps.The cover has not been opened y the lifting of the flap which has not been damaged in the process. The cover is 23 cm x 10 cm. It has a vertical fold. It is likely that it was sent folded to Dominica in another cover, stamped and sent back to the addressee. The flap is embossed with the coat of arms and wording "BARCLAYS BANK, FORMER...LY THE COLONIAL BANK, (DOMINION, COLONIAL AND OVERSEAS)". There is an indistinct oval REGISTERED receipt mark, and a BOSTON MASS. REGISTERED transit mark of 14 May 1935.

Postage is 70p to UK addresses, £1.65 to Europe and £2.30 to the rest of the world for standard services at the buyer's risk. For sendings over £50 I prefer to use secure services - special delivery to UK addresses at £6.60, and tracked/signed air mail to the rest of the world (£6.55 to Europe and £7.30 to the rest of the world) and will invoice accordingly.
