Hello, this auction is for an awesome and Rare 1800's Fancy Engraved Chinese Duplex Silver Men's Pocket Watch , Open Face measuring approx. 49mm across . Sweep second model - not sure if the hands are original as they don't seem to match but they do fit . Case has an inner brass dust cover but the rest of the case is Silver - unmarked but tested . Only markings I can see on the inside of the case back is - CF and a number 6 and a serial number 8365 . It is c...urrently Not Running - Offered for repair - Balance swings freely . Nice project ! . I can swing shake the watch and it will run for a couple of seconds and stop . It is fully wound - no key included. I am not sure or the problem but my guess is the escapement needs to be properly adjusted but no guarantees. Offered as-is . Rare Watch ! Decent case - some case dings as pictured . Porcelain dial has some clean hairlines that don't really show in the pictures . The center of the dial has a crystal with what looks to be gold leafing on the backside ???!!!
