Hello, This is a VINTAGE DELCO REMY 801 CHEVY / FORD / DODGE 6 VOLT HORN WITH MANIFOLD MOUNT BRACKET REFURBISHEDWhile your here, Please Check out my other items!I do have a Variety of other model horns listed.
Gr...eat Condition for it's Age, Use, & Storage.
Fits 47 - 53 CHEVY TRUCKS. Maybe some GMC & Dodge Trucks.This can be used on a Variety of vehicles, Car, Truck, or Jeep.
This can also be used on Any Car or Truck you decide.I Dismantled the Horn, Cleaned to check Condition. Looked Good.The trumpet had Tiny dents, Larger dents in the rear cover.I Cleaned it to Bare Metal & Primed before Repainting.Had some Paint loss & Chips in the paint Surface rust on the HousingThere were Dents I Tried to Remove, able to remove Most of them.I tried to Show Before & After in Pictures #2, #3, #4, & #5.There Not too bad anymore & Still Very Useable..Once mounted, I doubt you'll notice any of them.When found it had the Original Manifold Mount Bracket.
I cleaned all Bolts & Nuts, Polished the ones on the Housing.This gives you a little more Added Detail for the Car Shows.
I made repairs where needed, Cleaned the Contacts, & Adjusted Horn.I Repainted the horn parts a GLOSS BLACK.This Shines More than the Picture Show.
Mount Bracket as shown. Painted Gloss Black also.I Painted the Sound Plate a METALLIC SILVER.
I TESTED this using 6 Volts Works Great as it did back then. This has the Classic BEEP BEEP Sound.
I tried to show the Condition in all the Pictures.
Size: Overall 9" Long. Trumpet 6 1/2" Tall, 4" Wide in Front.Rear Cover is APPROX. 5" Wide.SHIP WEIGHT IS CALCULATED, 4 Lbs.
Great Item to ADD to a Daily Driver. This Piece is NEAR PERFECT, Very Useable, Looks Pretty Good.These are Getting Harder & Harder to Find in this Condition.This is an ORIGINAL GM ITEM.
