This helmet Shell / cover is from the Vietnam era. (1960s- 1970s) the M1 helmet was worn by US service members, it was used from World war 2 - till 1985 when it was replaced with the PASGT. They are at actually still in service in certain countries in the world.
the helmet liner is a repro liner. I guess this helmet belonged to a reenactor, it can still be swapped out with an original the helmet is in awesome shape no dents. the helmet shell is original and is even named to a “ C...ol Geo B. Mickolas “the Mitchell helmet cover is original also.
