This listing is for a Vintage Art Deco Forman Brothers Chromed Metal & Bakelite Recipe Cocktail Shaker. Circa 1930s. This cocktail shaker measures 12 inches tall, 5 and 1/2 inches in diameter at the base tapering to 3 inches in diameter at the rim. It has a black bakelite handle and is embossed on the bottom with fourteen tasty vintage cocktail recipes: SIDE CAR, TOM COLLINS, WHISKEY SOUR, A...LEXANDER, BACARDI, BRONX, CLOVER CLUB, DAQUIRI, DUBONNET, JACK ROSE, MANHATTAN, DRY MARTINI, ORANGE BLOSSOM, and PALM BEACH, along with "Design Patent 60245 Forman Brothers Inc. Brooklyn N.Y". This cocktail shaker is documented on pages 103-105 of "Vintage Bare Ware" by Stephen Visakay.
Condition No dings, dent or splits. No chrome wear. Clean inside and out. There are some scratches on the side between the spout and the handle (see last picture).
