Unusual yellow background on this wedding ring quilt of multiple colors and prints. From the early 1930's from Western Pennsylvania, it is done on a smaller scale than the regular wedding ring pattern. The patchwork pieces are smaller, measuring 1 1/2 in length and just about 1/2 inch at the small end.
Many different colorful fabrics from the 20's and 30's. Hand pieced and hand quilted.
Quilt has a fair amount of wear, all around the border binding. I have shown a few pi...eces that are also worn. Still very attractive and usable.
Fits a regular double bed, as shown.
