Schueler.HEADQUARTERED IN: Saint Louis, Missouri.MEASUREMENTS: This is a large apothecary bottle. Approximately 9.25" tall (10.5" with glass stopper) by 3.5" wide by 3.5" deep at the base. The bottle and glass stopper weigh 1 pounds, 12.0 ounces.TYPE BOTTLE: Glass, clear, numerous... molding "distortions" and bubbles. Appears to have been a two-piece bottle mold.TYPE STOPPER: Glass, clear, very ornate, pie-crust design. Three piece mold.LABEL: This bottle is labeled: SPIR CHLOROF - which I believe is spirit of chloroform. Label under curved glass. CONDITION: There are no discernable chips or cracks. This is one of the best apothecary bottles in my collection - especially given its excellent condition, age, rarity, and numerous molding "distortions." ORIGIN: This bottle came from a multi-generational family pharmacy from South Chicago.
