Antique 1930's Art Deco Oak Westminster Chime Mantel Clock (with Key & Pendulum)
This is an Antique 1930's Art Deco Oak Westminster Chime Mantel Clock. This is in excellent condition and in full working order. It has an absolutely stunning appearance. It features beautiful, Art Deco, stepped panel shapes. To the front of the clock, is an Art Deco finial, underneath the face. The plinth base has a ridged border decoration around the front and sides, which is a stunning decor...ative touch. The oak has a light oak finish with a stunning, dark grain. The face is a silvered metal with black numbers. The hands are also metal, with amazing Art Deco shaping to them. There are three winding holes on the face as this clock will produce a chime every quarter of an hour. There is a silencing switch to the top of face, above the number 12. Underneath the number six it says: FOREIGN. The face has a silvered metal framing, unfortunately the glass casing is missing. The door at the back of the clock is intact and in excellent condition, with it's handle and clasp intact. There are five chime bars in the mechanism chamber, which produce a Westminster Chime. This particular clock has an unusually long chime. The clock comes with it's original key, with Art Deco shaping and pendulum.
