This pretty little Hertwig bonnet head came to us all the way from the Netherlands. We promptly added age appropriate appendages to it new muslin body and she was stuffed firmly with polyfiber. (remember, the disabled and sawdust do not mix without a BIG MESS!). She is made of bisque porcelain and her colors are very bright and beautiful and except for the tiny gold buttons around the outer band of her bonnet, (they are the first to wear off!) ther are no color rubs at all ...on her! She wears a cunning little dress that has a removeable outward skirt that gives you a plain or fancy look to the dress. Both styles are picture here. As always, study these pictures carefully, as they provide a good description of the doll you will receive! The dress is full length with a V-shaped decoration of lace in the front and a charming white "brooch" at her throat to complete her pictureof a pretty "Sunday dress" The over skirt is also made of the same pretty blue cotton a y the dress, only this is printed with a floral pattern and the skirt on this is shorter, so the longer dress will peep out the bottom. This matches her lovely blue eyes and the ties to her bonnet to perfection! She is quite a sweet doll and ready to be taken home by you!
