VERY RARE c1900 AUSTRIAN IRIDESCENT ART GLASS VASE w STERLING SILVER OVERLAYNO RESERVE ESTATE TREASURES AUCTION inc FINE ASIAN ARTS Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions! This week we are very excited to be offering a very fine selection of Estate Treasures including Sterling Silver, Silver Plate, Pottery, Porcelain, Cut Glass and Art Glass.

Up for Auction with No Reserve is a very Rare c1900 Austrian Iridescent Art Glass Vase with Sterling Silver Overlay. The Vase features beautiful colors ranging from yellow to purple to orange at the top and is almost entirely overlaid with Sterling Silver. The Sterling features a fabulous Botantical design and is finely etched throughout which is always a sign of very fine quality. The Vase is also Hallmarked for Sterling Silver from when it was imported into the U.K. in 1904 (Birmingham). The Vase is I am sue by one of the top Austrian companies of the Period but Austrian Art Glass is a study upon itself, so I will let you decide the exact company for yourself.
The Vase displays very nicely and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, just one small loss of Silver as seen in the photos. The Vase is also a nice cabinet size measuring 6-1/8 inches tall by 2-3/4 inches wide overall. What a lovely addition to any collection this would make or a special and unique gift.
