VINTAGE ZUNI STERLING SILVER & TURQUOISE TURTLE SIGNED PIN/PENDANTThe pendant can also be worn as a pin as seen in the photos.It is 1&7/8" long by 1&3/16" wide. It has 15 individual pieces of turquoise. The silver work is very good with little flowers all the way round the shell. Each piece of silver is cut and soldered and then the turquoise is shaped to fill the shell, a lot of work to say the least. It is signed HAIOO Zuni on the back. The bail has over an 1/8"... opening and is on the side so it hangs horizontally.This wonderful piece came from a Las Vegas Nevada estate. This is one of the best turtles I've seen and would go well in any Native American jewelry collection. If you love turtles this is a nice one.
