IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!
This is Steiff's Teddy Bear Tea Party boxed set of bears and china, Style #0204/16, a limited edition set created in honor of Steiff's 102nd birthday. This is box #2054 of 10, 000 and has the Certificate Of Authenticity. This wonderful set of teddy bears are made of short mohair fur with black eyes, stitched black floss nose and mouth, each in a different color (White, Dark Brown, Honey, Caramel). The bears have a swivel head, jointed arms and legs. The delig...htful bears are approximately 5" tall when standing and 3" to 3 1/2" when sitting. Each of the four teddy bears has the brass button in his left ear and all are marked #0204/16 on the white cloth Steiff tag. The bears also have the round paper "Original Teddy Bear LTD ED. 82" attached to their chest.
The 15-piece miniature porcelain tea set is recreated as the replica of the centerpieces used by Theodore Roosevelt's daughter for her wedding. It still has the original plastic holding the pieces in place on the table - the place setting and the plastic are in mint condition! The "7400" serial number is still attached to the tablecloth.
This Steiff set has never been on displayed or played with. It comes from a smoke-free. Note that it has been stored for 30+ years.
The box measures 5" high, 12" wide and 9" long. It is in excellent condition - no wear, the plastic is clear and intact. I have the outer brown cardboard box this originally came in - I will very carefully pack this set to protect it while being shipped. Original still have the receipt cost of this set was $175.00 when it came out
