1940’s Vintage German Rowenta Semi- Automatic Cigarette lighter.Working Condition- Made in Germany.This is a German Made Petrol Lighter.This lighter is pretty cool. It has one of the most unique two lever safety release mechanisms.One lever in the back and one in the front must be operated at the same time to fire.This would prevent the lighter from lighting in your pocket.....Or so you would hope.The lighter has a strong spring and good spark.This lighter has a very generous thick (...835) Silver with a Florentine Pattern.I always try to describe any obvious faults as truthfully as I can.Please LQQK at my photos carefully.I noticed that on the back upper corner there are some spot of a tar of glue.I did not want to damage the soft silver overlay - So I will leave that to the experts to remove.I posted a photo with a close up of that area on the lighter.However this lighter is nearly 80 years old and still working.....ô¿ôThis is a pretty unique lighter that would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.If you plan to store or display for any period of time - Remove the Flint...You will be glad you did.I will ship - FREE - USPS Priority 1-3 day MailI ship only in the USA.Please use PayPal.....thanks( Free surprise gifts with each order.)
