And don't forget to look at the other five reasons. You can also click this link to quickly add and then save me to your favorite seller list a...nd Ebay will automatically send you updates when I put similar new auctions online.
Here's an early, uncommon and eminently collectible Musio Radio manfactured in Pittsburgh, PA. The radio is complete and correct (including the crystal detector), and it comes with its original instruction sheet (affixed to the underside of the lid) and a working pair of Pennsylvania Wireless headphones, manufactured in New Castle PA and sold by Hamburg Bros. in Pittsburgh.
The Musio sold for $12.50 when new and was designed to look like a tube radio rather than a crystal set. The Poor Man's Crosley, so to speak. Which is interesting, because the Crosley was the Poor Man's Grebe. So I guess that would make the Musio the Really Poor Man's Grebe. In addition to its many other virtues, the Musio was advertised as being so simple that even a toddler could use it, with a unique detector that was hidden from sight, behind the panel, ostensibly so the precocious toddler who was operating the radio wasn't also nibbling on the crystal, mistaking it for rock candy.
Condition overall is very good (particularly for a Musio) as you can see in the photographs, and the panel decal, which on the Musio is typically missing or scarred, is intact and legible.  Cabinet retains its original finish, and the hard rubber panel isn't warped or cracked. All panel screws are original, all lid hardware is original, detector is original. All binding post nuts are also original and correct.
PA Wireless headset has good drivers and a good cord with good tips.
Shipping weight approximately 7 lb.

That's about it. I will package it carefully and properly, and I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which it leaves mine.  I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.   Overseas customers may remit payment with Paypal only.  Auction participants with no prior ebay history, or with private feedback, should contact me before placing a bid.
