RARE 19th CENTURY CHINESE ANTIQUE IMPERIAL YELLOW GROUND - ENAMELED GREEN & AUBERGINEDRAGON & PHOENIX PORCELAIN BOWLAcquired in the late 1970's from a high-end estate in Europe.The bowl has a rich "egg-yolk" yellow ground glaze with green and aubergine enameled archaic Dragons and Phoenix surrounding both the interior and exterior areas. Vivid colors, no chips, cracks, and no repairs.Underglaze Bottom Double Circle Six-Character Imperial Apocryphal Ming Dynasty Mark The finely... crackled glaze and the minuscule underglaze iron rust dots (I tried do zoom them in some of the pictures - but they are better visible under a magnifier) are more consistent with 19th Century pieces (Tongzhi to Guangxu period) DIMENSIONS:Diameter - 22.1cm ( 8" 5/8)Height - 8.5 cm (3" 3/8) LARGE CHINESE ANTIQUE IMPERIAL YELLOW GROUND - GREEN AUBERGINE DRAGON BOWL -RARE
