Description: Antique Circa 1390 Nihonto Samurai Sword SIGNEDJapanese Gold Inlay TSUBA Curved. An extremely rare sword. Our research indicates this sword was made between 1300-1428 and likely made by Ryokai Yoshisune who worked in Buzen or Yamashiro and the same scholar said its Chikushi Ryokai Muromachi , others say Ryokai Yoshihito. Approx. Dimensions or Size: 38.25 inches total length with scabbard, Blade measures 21 ½ inches long, Sword length tip of blade to end of handle 32 inches, Tsuba measures approx. 3 inches in diameter,
Condition: In used condition, displays oxidation and red rust, wear and loss to scabbard, general overall wear, the blade has big blisters and openings on forging grain, makeshift wood pin holding handle and blade together
