Antique Composition Baby Doll 16 " Painted Hair OH SO CUTE

I’m offering today an Adorable baby doll from the 1930's to 1940's era. This is perfect size baby doll for cabinet or larger doll to hold in her lap. She is all composition with jointed neck, arms and legs.
Oh my goodness, wait till you see this doll in person. She is truly a beautiful doll and hard to believe she is from the 1930's to 40's era. I will start ...at the top of the doll and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description. Starting at the top of her head, she has brown molded hair which has very, very little paint loss. The large bow around her head was designed and created by me so it would match her dress. The ribbon is heavy grosgrain in colors of peach and white. It looks sooooo adorable! As you go down to her face, she has single brown line for eyebrows. She has green open close sleep eyes with long eyelashes which have been spared from the hands of her previous little mommies. Her eyes open and close freely and have such a precious look to them.
She has a dainty little nose with open nostrils for realism which flow down to her rose bud shape lips. Her lips are painted bright red color with open mouth revealing two little teeth and felt tongue in the back. This procedure is no longer done due to time constraints on doll making. These additional steps are completed prior to attaching the doll head to the body. Her cheeks have beautiful coloring to blend well with her beautiful bright green eyes.
The doll is all composition on a jointed baby body. Honestly this doll looks like she was never played with. Her molded hair has very little paint loss, if any. The composition is beautiful and I don't find any flaws to reveal. I'm sure if you looked very, very closely you would find tiny imperfections. She has jointed head, arms and legs for posing in such sweet positions. She is jointed and strung and poses easily. Sometimes you have to work with the head to get it the way you want it, but it will stay that way for you.
Now to her adorable outfit I chose for her debut. She is wearing a peach colored cotton blouse with bunny rabbit embroidered on the front. I put delicate white ruffled lace around the bottom hemline to compliment her pants. Her pants are white cotton with peach colored hearts covering the surface. The bottom of the pant legs have peach colored cotton lace with tiny peach satin bow on each side. She is wearing white socks with oh so sweet white mary jane shoes trimmed with lace and bows. The shoes have white snaps on each side to keep the safe and secure on her feet. This adorable baby doll will come with her very own baby bottle for holding in her hand.
I didn't really have to do anything to this doll because she was in such beautiful condition. She has been in my collection for many years and over the course of years I clean my dolls and try to avoid them from ageing by doing so. They are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough. My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy.
All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children. Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, I've tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll. We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor. My dolls are clean and most of the time look as though they did when they were sold new. Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth having; for each one is like children.....they are all beautiful in their mothers eyes. If I've missed something it would never be intentional.

CONDITION:
I would consider this antique baby doll in very good condition. It's hard to find a composition baby doll which has hardly been played with. Her outfit was purchased for her and customized to fit her little body. Her shoes are from my vintage doll shoe collection, but are from the 1980's. They have never been worn. Her eyes open/close freely. Her eyelashes are thick and uncut. Her hair band was custom made by me for her to wear with her new outfit. Please view complete set of photos for thorough description.
