20 kop Overprint in Red. Mint No Gum Very rarely offered but origin unknown and priced accordingly
The Commandant of Pleskau (Northern Front) was unable to get asupply of stamps for the town and issued both German and Soviet stamps with theoverprint "PLESKAU". When the Reichspost head office in Berlin foundout that German stamps had been illegally overprinted, the issue was withdrawn, but a number had already gone through the post.
