VINTAGE Frog #351P 1/96 THE B.O.A.C. DC-7C AIRLINER Model Kit!
Kit #351P. 1/96 scale. This is a first issue 1950s kit! Part...s and decals are in VERY GOOD condition! Instruction sheet is included. Hard litho box is in overall GOOD - VERY GOOD condition with age appropriate shelf and edge wear. There is a stress line on bottom of box top. Refer to picture for details and condition. Sealing tape to keep the box closed had been applied on top and bottom of box sides. SHIPPING & HANDLING: U.S. S&H is $9.99 via Priority Mail with USPS Tracking. Insurance (if desired) is additional based on the winning bid amount and will be offered when we e-mail you after the auction's end. Although our experience tells us that situations where insurance was necessary are rare, Rare-Plane Detective is not responsible for uninsured items after they are shipped. Items are usually shipped within two business days after receipt of payment. If I anticipate an unexpected delay, I will notify you by e-mail.
CANADIAN/INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We are happy to accept your bid! IMPORTANT! The USPS has raised international shipping rates SIGNIFICANTLY! Canadian Buyers pay $35.99 Priority Mail International S&H. All other International Buyers pay $54.99 Priority Mail International S&H.
Remember that the US Postal Service no longer offers any type of Economy Surface Mail rate for international shipping. Rare-Plane Detective cannot be responsible for international packages once they are mailed. Once a package is mailed, it is in the hands of both of our countries' respective Postal systems. Our mailing program files will constitute proof of mailing. Although it is the more expensive option, Priority Mail International shipping includes tracking for international orders. In the event that your package goes missing after mailing (a rare, but possible occurrence), if you choose First Class Mail international shipping, you accept responsibility for the package's fate, and understand and accept that there is no likely way to track or locate the package.
TO ALL BUYERS CONCERNING S&H RATES: Shipping and Handling rates include the following: actual postage, boxes (more so on international than U.S. orders), packing materials like blank newsprint, styrofoam peanuts and tape, addressing software and labeling materials, delivery to post office, and our packing person's time. Between wages, taxes and employment fees, approximately every FOUR MINUTES of the packing employee's time costs R-PD $1.00. And I can vouch that most orders take more than four minutes to carefully package so that it arrives in your hands in the same condition it left our warehouse. US buyers should also recognize that before eBay "automated" their payment systems, I was able to e-mail you and charge differing rates for the corresponding USPS Zones. Those days are unfortunately over and I must now charge a rate to cover costs to the furthest Zone from our location. Lately, it seems that some buyers have taken out their frustrations with S&H rates with less-than-appropriate Seller DSR ratings. If you accepted the advertised S&H rate by bidding on the item, and the item is well-packed and mailed out quickly, then the seller DESERVES a "5". Our S&H rates are plainly and exactingly stated. The time to decide that you are not happy with S&H rates is not when you are filling out the DSRs after the transaction. It is BEFORE you bid.
