Original Description:
ORIGINAL U.S. CIVIL WAR OR INDIAN WARS ERA LEATHER SURGICAL INSTRUMENT KIT POUCH. This item is from old Bannerman stock & is recently out of an old estate.  I am not sure exactly what time period this surgical pouch dates from but it certainly looks to be 19th century, possibly U.S. Civil War or Indian Wars era?  The pouch is made of a maroon colored leather and measures 6 inches X 4 inches when closed and 11 1/2 inches long when fully rolled out....  The front flap has a metal closure that is broken.  The roll has 13 slots to hold surgical instruments and two pockets on either end.  There is a hand written number and name on the inside of the front flap.  The roll is in fair condition showing a good deal of wear & age.  The stitching on both ends of the bottom inside pocket has come apart.  ***CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE VINTAGE MILITARIA FROM BANNERMAN'S***  I do combine shipping so if you should win/buy more than one of my items please wait for me to send you an invoice before making payment.    Buyer to pay for shipping, thanks for looking!
