This is a very rare absolutely beautiful vintage 8 day musical Westminster Chime bracket clock on its original matching display pillar unit, the case has a absolutely wonderful hand painted case which looks amazing on display retailed at Tiffanys The clock has a boulle style design with a cream colouring and hand painted floral decorations and various bronze mounts along with a large cherub figure sat on top, the case has a full length bronze fully glazed front door to gain access to and protect the dial and a solid back door to gain access to and protect the movement The clock comes with its matching hand painted display unit which the bracket clock sits beautifully on top. The unit has a fully glazed front door and has glass shelves to display ornaments on, the is a drawer to the top where you can keep the winding key along with other items The painted finish and decorations are absolutely beautiful and has a stunning patina, the colour to the unit is slightly darker than the clock but that i believe is because the person who had the clock before displayed the clock but not the unit as they didn't have the room but they are still a stunning matching pair which have an amazing display look THE DIAL The clock benefits from its original embossed bronze 7.5 inch diameter dial with cartouche numerals with roman numbers. The clock has its original hands and the dial is protected by the glazed front door The dial has the retailers name Tiffany to the bottom name cartouche
THE MOVEMENT The clock benefits from its original triple train 8 day musical movement which plays the Westminster chime on 4 chiming rods every 1/4 hour and on the hour after the musical chime has finished it strikes 4 separate rods the amount of hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking as it should as you can see and hear in the video above
The movement is in excellent working order and keeps good accurate time as expected from a quality clock which has been well looked after. The movement comes with its original pendulum and a winding key, the movement is signed by the maker Franz Hermle
The mechanism comes with a 6 months return to base warranty for extra piece of mind. Please see the terms and conditions

All our clocks are tested for a minimum of 1 week before listing onto ebay and working condition is clearly stated above
No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this so please bear this in mind before bidding
If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase
