1970 SCHWINN STINGRAY LIL CHIK/FAIR LADY MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE BICYCLE BLUE+SLIK! Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Here... is a rare original Sept 1970 SCHWINN STINGRAY "Lil Chik" muscle bike with 20" wheels. (JE Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, the majority of this bike is original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing RADIANT BLUE factory painted color. The bike has cool apehanger handlebars, (may be newer) matching hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, chrome fenders, and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The chainguard is original but has a fresh decal. The seat is original and has the cool Stingray tag on the rear. (could use a serious cleaning) It has the original Schwinn S7 rims with a Bendix rear hub. Both front and rear tires hold air. The rear tire is a super cool Schwinn Gripper SLIK tire! (probably original for the bike) The front tire is a vintage Schwinn tire as well. (hold air but tread surface is worn) Really cool bike overall!

*I LOVE these earlier Stingray bikes. Many of these early bikes like this have been used for parts for boys bikes. (would be a shame to do so) Fun for your the girl in your life to enjoy riding with you or a great display! These are hard to find, especially in such a cool color! PAY ATTENTION! These are steadily going up in value and going into collections! DONT miss out!

It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks ok for a 45+ year old kids bike! (has chips scratches etc but has survived better than many) The lower area of the frame is touched up. (matches fairly good and you have to look closer to see it but I like to be honest) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Seat upper is very slightly separating at the bottom front of the pan. (see pics, you may not even notice) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The kickstand has a slight lean when parking the bike. (not a huge deal but I like to be honest) A great display or fun bike for your wife, daughter, girlfriend or significant other to ride! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
