This is a rare high quality stunning french empire white marble and bronze portico table mantel clock that has its original gilt ormolu finish to the mounts which displays amazingly, the clock is in full working order and will take pride of place in any ones home The case features a fantastic thin solid marble 2 pillar portico design with the pillars having embossed bronze decoration designs to them as well as a 1 inch diameter Wedgwood panel to the centre. The case has various bronze embossed and pierced decoration mounts to the whole of the case
The case has this absolutely amazing original clean finish to the marble case which is just fantastic and looks 100 times more impressive in the flesh, the marble and ormolu mounts contrast beautifully against each other THE DIAL The clock features a 3.5 inch diameter white enamel porcelain dial with black roman numerals and original fancy gilded hands. The dial is in great condition for age and is protected by its glazed brass bezel THE MOVEMENT The movement is also of high quality being an 8 day french bell striking movement which strikes the bell on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour with its anchor escapement. The movement is in full working order keeping time and striking when it should as can be seen in the video above with its french sunburst pendulum and a new winding key
The movement has recently been fully serviced and comes with a 6 months return to base warranty, please see full terms and conditions

If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
