RARE! The ONLY ONE! Topps 1969 Pre-print Mock Up For Dodgers-A’s Poster. Drysdale and Jackson! Condition is Very Good.
This is the only one there is! It’s the pre-print acetate that I purchased directly from a Topps auction in the early 90’s and I’ve stored it since. The photos are the base and the fold over is the Topp’s artist’s rendering of the posters. The piece measures 21.5” x 26.25” and each poster individually measures 12” x 20”. The Dodger’s poster inc...ludes Drysdale, Willie Davis, Claude Osteen, Ron Fairly, Jim LeFebvre, Bill Singer and 5 more LA Dodgers. The A’s poster includes Reggie Jackson, a very young looking Catfish Hunter, Blue Moon Odom, Rick Monday, Sal Bando, Bert Campaneros and 5 more A’s. The acetate is in great condition and only missing a few of the autographs that were cut out and pasted on. It has some of the artist’s editing comments on it. The flip over artwork has a small tear on the lower right side but it has the artist’s printing about the color location and more. I am also including an original of the A’s poster in this auction which is in good condition because it’s been folded and has some old tape marks. It could still be framed. This measures 20”x 12”. I am including a reprint of the Dodger poster in the auction as well and it is near mint condition. Be clear that it is a reprint and not an original and measures slightly smaller than the original at 17” x 11”. THERE IS ONLY ONE OF THESE 1969 PRE-PRINT ARTIST’S RENDERING AND MOCK UPS SO THIS WILL BE A GREAT ADDITION TO A COLLECTION!
