This is a rare high quality stunning french ornate white marble and champleve mantel clock that has its original gilt finish to the mounts which displays amazingly, the clock is in full working order and will take pride of place in any ones home The case features a fantastic ornate design with the marble urn finials and bronze mounts, the shape to the case gives a wonderful display look. The case has various champleve mounts over the face, the black enamel decoration is very rare and looks amazing on display contrasting beautifully against the white marble case
The case has this absolutely amazing original clean finish to the marble case which is just fantastic and looks 100 times more impressive in the flesh, the marble and champleve bronze enamel mounts contrast beautifully against each other THE DIAL The clock features a 3.25 inch diameter bronze engraved dial with white roman numerals and original spade hands. The dial is in excellent condition for age with its stunning matching champleve decoration THE MOVEMENT The movement is also of high quality being an 8 day french bell striking movement which strikes the bell on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour with its anchor escapement. The movement is in full working order keeping time and striking when it should as can be seen in the video above with its french pendulum and a new winding key, movement is stamped with the marks mark of Japy Freres

If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
