Original Description:
Edward Jones Willis first patented his cross-shaped planimeter in 1894, with further improvements patented in 1896 and 1901.  This is a model with all the improvements, manufactured by James L. Robertson & Sons in NY.  This Willis is in superb condition, as you can see in the pictures.  The case is 10 ¼” L X 4 ½” D X 1 ½” T and is in good condition as well.
