Original Description:
This is a most stunning antique French porcelain cup saucer set from old prominent estate. It is unusual as it has an applied silver filigree decorative mounting. Looks like you may be able to remove the silver mounting and put it on another cup and saucer possibly. The saucer is 4 3/8" across and the cup is 2 3/8" tall and 2 5/8" across including handle. The cup features a cherub musical band in an oval medallion. It has pretty blue background with gold decoration. The gold decoration... looks hand painted but I think the scene is a transfer. The saucers gold decoration has some gold wear. Pretty cup and saucer in very nice condition. You will love the sets beauty. Thanks for looking.
